This week, part-time G1PS employees Tomas Marcinkevičius-Baronas (chairman), Rokas Linkevičius (internal communications), and Emil Starodubov (public communications and coordination of labor law consultations) sat down for a serious talk.

We reviewed the past year, dreamed about the future, and planned our activities for the next six months. It will be difficult to implement the union's plans without secrecy, so, unfortunately, for now they will remain on those three laptops. However, we can share some of our achievements for 2025:

  • Our membership grew by 25%

  • We took "Barbora" to the Constitutional Court

  • And then we took "Barbora" to the European Court of Human Rights

  • We consulted around 100 people

  • We held labor law courses for the third time

  • Together with allied organisations, we organised over a dozen protests

  • Three branches entered into collective bargaining, with some nearing the finish line and others still having work to do (stay tuned)

  • Other branches participated in meetings at various ministries, international projects, and organized discussions and exhibitions

  • Our circle of followers on social media has expanded: Instagram grew by as much as 90% (!), Facebook by 20%. By the way, if you use LinkedIn, follow us there too!

Seeing these results, you can guess the scale of the plans we are keeping a secret.
