You can give a part of your annual income tax to trade unions until 2 May this year. This donation does not cost you any extra money. In Lithuania every year people can give a share of their income tax:

0.6% to trade unions
1.2% to NGOs, associations and other organisations with beneficiary status
0.6% to political parties

This year we invite you to donate 0.6% of your income tax to Lithuanian platform workers trade union which is involved in legal action against Bolt for the recognition of the employment relationship, and is participating in the government's efforts to implement the EU directive on platform work into Lithuanian law. Our community budget is based on solidarity, which means that your donation will contribute not only to the maintenance of the LPDPS, but also support other units.

In 2024, G1PS:

  • Nearly 100 employment law consultations provided

  • 23,000 euros recovered from unfair employers

  • helped to establish 6 new unions: Text Workers, Yara EBS, Sneaky box, Baltos lankos Klett, Piana Vyshnia, Lithuanian Platform Workers' Union

  • 2 legislative proposals included in the government programme

  • 30 per cent increase in followers, dozens of articles published in the national media

  • Lawsuit against UAB ‘Barbora’ for obstruction of trade union activities continues

  • Consultants have been joined by members who are experienced in labour law

  • Units have been learning the art of negotiation, drafting collective agreements, overcoming financial shyness, have been writing and winning projects, organising events and much more!

Last year, you allocated us as much as €13,372.36. This year, such support would help us continue to be a union that WORKS!

And we will work a lot! We will expand the number of members and branches, we will continue to actively consult and represent at the Labour Disputes Commission, and we will pull the drums out if needed. Not only for greener, more solidary and democratic workplaces, but also for the well-being of cities and the country.

Thank you for your ongoing and new friendship 🏵️
